When squatt fishing on canals and shallow lakes do you feed regularily even if it appears that there are no fish in the swim and in doing so trying to spark fish into eventually feeding. Or do you reduce your feed untill fish appear. there appears to be two schools of thought. Many thanks.

If your fishing the squatt you should never have your catty out of your hands by right

Feed feed feed and the bites will follow, just make sure you stay with the fish.

If it were me i would feed little and often….Although the fish may appear not to be there, they will see a regular input of bait, say 6 to 8 squatts, and this will kick start there feeding habit. Al so try moving the bait up and down a little, failing that lying it 6inches on the bottom.
            Good luck
