TF_geepsterParticipantHad a few cupping kit issues in the worlds.
Problem is cupping out those big heavy balls of leam.
Need a really stiff cupping kit.
The Daiwa one isn’t stiff enough at the length.
Anyone got a solution that will fit the Pro.Will Raison doesn’t seem to have these issues!! LOL

TF_Staff BullGeepster, I’ve got a Pro and I use one of the older Preston Kup Kit ones, the grey one. It’s got a very big reinforced black section at female end that you cut down until it fits your no4. The top section can be cut down a long way so it’s stiff as f@@k. Just have to try and find one as ya don’t see many about now.

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantI’ve cut my diawa cupping kit to length of a match kit with no 1 missing no problems with that but I can imagine I being a mare if your keeping it long

TF_geepsterParticipantAnt – yes I keep some of the No1 in so that with the half extension in it’s 13m exactly…. the knock on effect is that the bespoke Daiwa cupping kit isn’t stiff enough…. it is for most things but not for cupping in leam.

TF_geepsterParticipantRe the Frenzee i do use those and did in the worlds. Do they do cupping kits as well?Floating the pots out is no good on a water like the worlds this year. Same reason balling it was no good. The water was clear and it spooked the fish. Needed to keep the cup off the water and delicately cup in. But if they do a cupping kit as well let me have a link?

TF_StewartGeeps,
The stiffest adjustable cupping kit that I know of is the Milo Superba, Have a word with Steve G or Simon Willsmore. -

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantBeing a bit of a knackler like I am I be tempted to fill the top 18 inch with resin or glue see if that stiffens things up, get an old no 1 blather it with epoxy resin and stick that u the arose end of the cupping kit no 1 ?

TF_ian1980this one is easy get somebody to mill u a thread into the top of a number3 section cos the number2 with the 1 in is the same length as a silver section n just add the silver section on remember to take it off when fish though,u can still use the no3 section too it wont effect the section pm/call me if u don’t understand 07833188098,no pay out either for kits n its as stiff as a poker
