What are the ratios for stocking types of fish and sizes in a small lake with 25 pegs around the bank .

If it were my lake and I’m only offering an opinion I’d put 100lb of carp per peg in so 2500lb and I’d make em 2 to 4lb apiece so probably about 800 fish. Then silvers.

Its very easy to over stock.
Alot of factors come into play, such as water quality, is it connected to water course, does it have a constant water course inlet and out let, depth, existing stocking density, other aquatic life etc etc etc.
Talk to a good reputable fish rearing farm and they will help you – if they just want your money, then there not the right people!
I know that some years ago, Nigel at Barston lakes stocked from a farm called Willow fish farm in Cheshire – we subsequently used them also and they were a good help.
You could loose the lot in low oxygen conditions, algea blooms, or as we did, a series of bad thunder storms that came after a sustained hot weather spell.
Get some good solid advise mate.
