On a pole only Silvers match that peg is hard to beat as it’s one of only a few pegs that you can reach an island with and catch chub.
I don’t know what Terry caught but would hazard a guess that he had some chub.

Malloy won it easy on the tree peg with 36lb,im not shure who got the places but Steve sauders had 20odd Steve G had 20odd a guy called chris had aroud 20 Adam had 18lb off Pikeys peg,i think Dave Sandford had aroud 20 as well. The islads fished better than the open water pegs with more chubb showing and a bit more space up there i drew the basin end about 4pegs up on the right, caught plenty of roach on the maggot but to small although a couple of good ones did show late,no real bous fish so 8lb15oz for my efforts,Terry H in the peg to my left had 9lb odd with a bonus big skimmer and Mark beat me to the right with 9lb odd and had a 2-3lb chubb.1 bonus would have made a difference but there you go thats 2 bad results so will need a miracle to do any good in the league this year, oh well thats fishing.Pikey i fished the caster for 1.5hrs and only had 3 roach, changed to mag and caught regular~think

Looks like it fished well Dave.I have to say there are some quality anglers fishing this league, and fair play to you all for keeping the points tight.
Terry(Molloy)is a great angler, and given the right peg will compete with the best…IMO….And he helps me quite a bit too…lol.

                        D. Sandford 19lb+

From memory but about right, after the winner all had a mix of roach with a few chub.

Think I’ll be in the top half of the league somewhere – you can drop your worst result so that will help. Not fished the venue prior to Steve’s league – I have had a 2nd and a section win (open matches) and a 3rd there so starting to get to grips with it a bit now.

That looked like a brilliant days fishing – I wish I’d been there.
