        Ladies and Gentlemen,

Could any of you recomend a “REALLY” Strong 12 M plus pole for under £150? I thought of the Middy Rock Ard but are there any other options?

I will say now that this isn’t for fishing purposes it is for an ecologist friend who needs the last 10 meters or so (Butt upwards to the 4th) for attaching a bird collection device in his sampling strategy. They have previously used the Leeda assasin and leeda carp attack but the birds in question have crushed the sections (I couldn’t believe it either).

        Any recomendations much appreciated!!

any of the above mentioned poles will suffice John, but just get Scott @ Esselle to put a couple of wraps along the last section that the birds can get hold of! Also wrapping some foam (then wrap again with insulating or gaffer tape) around the final section that the birds are crushing will take some of the pressure out of the birds attempts.

                        Cheers fellas!!!

Darren, that is a wicked idea and I hadn’t even considered that option. A couple of wraps would work a treat. Cheers kiddio.

Hope all is well with you?
