If you can drop your trousers and stick a plastic carrot from the carvery display up you harris in front of numerous locals or vault over the bar to get a drink because the service is slow or get the trainee bar manager pregnant and still not get barred then I think some frivolity with a pepper pot won’t worry them too much. LOL.

And you’re absolutely right, I wasn’t there until 3am but I’ve done my time in the Longshoot bar and have driven to the draw not long after finishing my last pint in the bar on more than one occasion in the past – how nobody has ever got done over the years amazes me !!!

It must be something about the Glebe that brings out the worst in people as things were as bad if not worse for several years in the Greyhound Inn at Lutterworth when fishing the Maver Club Angler of the Year competition 😉

Halcyon Days Steve and great fun, John Brennan used to pride himself on being the last man in the bar at lutterworth every night! and my partner in crime is still running the LPR league, although at the glebe I remember Giles was so drunk one night he could hardly stand up and was talking double dutch (no one could comprehend what he was saying ) or maybe we were all pi$$ed and Andy Gregerys famous carrot dance brilliant and unforgettable your almost making me want to sign up for next years glebe festival maybe I could convince JB to go too although I dare say I wouldn’t be able to hack it with a lot of these young guns nowadays but I dare say the crack would be good 😉

Also your good self out for the count on the bank suffering from nodding off syndrome. do you still suffer from that Steve? as we havern’t seen each other for some time now

Great fun is an understatement Fred !!!!
It’s funny but we were talking at the draw about me sleeping on ‘Ivan’s Bench’ that year and I followed that up by falling asleep in Morrison’s car park after going in for more sweetcorn and missing half the match 😮
The good news is that having lost 17 stone I no longer suffer from sleep apnoea or have any effects of type 2 diabetes and feel much better for it thanks.
It would be good to catch up with you, JB, Rob pottinger and the like sometime.
