TF_MICK THE BOOKIEAs you all know i am a devout Arsenal fan,and like many of you, inherited as such from my old man.It was he also that lit the torch for “three” other great things in my life…..Fishing,Women,and Gambling. Its strange just how much we follow the ways of our fathers, and in many cases, not for the best either.
Anyway back to the topic….Today at 4pm i will be watching the game at home, sitting in my rocking chair, with the Lager and Jameason by my side, knowing that this game has so much at stake for my babies.
Like you all i moan and groan about the many injuries that have hit our teams, but jesus,i really cant believe how many the “Gunners” have had this season. All our great players have been hit one way or another, and today of all days we have to field our weakest side to date.
Now i dont mind a joke….but hoping Sol Cambell can stop Wayne Rooney is ridiculous….I`d go as far to say suicideal. The injury to Thomas Vermaelen is a huge blow, and if Fabregas gets a knock today i am going to bed for a month.
The game is massive for both teams, but i honestly think if Arsenal lose this match our season will be finished.I can see them dropping off the planet, and into mid-table,thats how important i veiw it.
Of course i know that Chelsea will win the title, and also that Man U are in great form(Rooney on fire),but i just hope the lads can hold on grimly for the Champions league place…….GOOD LUCK MY BABIES.~think ~think ~think ~think -

TF_caster robParticipantDon’t worry Mick.
It has been
written that if
Arsenal don’t win it’s because the opposition are playing “long ball”, the scoundrels. -

TF_Mikey .J.Rooney is going to tear your defence to shreads and then rip a hole in the back of the net ;-).

TomWArsenal have had more injuries than Utd.
Clichy, Gibbs, Nasri, Van Persie, Rosicky, Walcott, Bendtner, Fabregas and now Eduardo Diaby and possibly Vermaelen.
I honestly belive if Van Persie wasnt to have got injured Arsenal would be top of the league at the minute, dunno if they would have won it but definatly top at the moment.

TF_MICK THE BOOKIESorry Herbie…Just this min woke up…..What was the final score?….I went to bed after your lot scored the first goal.
And dont think you could have sucked an easy score out of me mate..a)I didnt fancy Arsenal one bit,and b)I never back them or lay them ever in any game…….Especially against the “long ball” merchants…..lol.
Congrats mate.You deserved it. -
31/01/2010 at 8:04 pm #91976

pmsl probably the best 2 centre halfs in the country have been out 2-3 months Ferdinand and Vidic, you win the premireship by stopping the other team scoring simple as that
-
31/01/2010 at 10:45 pm #92048
TomWPMSL Ferdinand used to be one of the best centre halfs in the country! These days I could pick 5 better from the prem! No doubt in my mind JT is the BEST centre half in world football at the minute let alone the country! Im not an arsenal fan defeding my team like I sense you are a united fan here, Im genuinely gutted for Arsenal with all the injuries they have had because they had a great shot at the league this year! Your right you win the premiership by stopping the other team scoring, thats why United are gonna finish second to Chelsea this year!
-
31/01/2010 at 10:56 pm #92049
Anonymouspmsl Terry isn’t the best centre half at Chelsea,he was awesome before he lost a yard or 2 of pace,we will see who wins the title soon enough,Chelsea have to play at United at sprus at liverpool at everton home to aresnal home to city theres a LOT of points to be dropped there
