TF_Mikey .J.Was meant to be fishing a match today but another freeze again last night and 2 inches of snow have wrecked my day.
Hows the rest of the country?

WATBLADEnone in wakefield,just frost last night.my son football match is morning got the axe due to frozen pitch.roll on summer.

TF_macca63Only a dusting in Higher Blackley and we too are usually the first to get it in Manchester. I’ve just looked out of the window at the sky it looks like we may well be in for a large dump of the stuff at sometime today.
Will have to spend another Sunday in front of the fire with a beer and make a few rigs up.

TF_The RunnerNo snow here, (Uxbridge) but swearword freezing.
Was going to do a knockup on the Colne but got up at 6 30, saw all the ice on the cars and , having blanked in my last two matches on the river, went back to bed.
Equally glad that changed my mind over original plan which involved the Wey Nav with no blood and joker… -

TF_Smedwell i braved it this morning, went down to my local which was clear yesterday, smashed 1 inch of ice out ~sick
first put in had a carp about 2 lb
next put in foul hooked one
then didnt have a sign for the rest of the day lol

However, I have discovered a 10ft pellet waggler rod isn’t the best tool for fishing the stick!

TF_DodgeWoke up to 2 ins of snow in S/W Manchester, trecherous drive along the M61 in driving snow v early this morning, only one lane open most of the way as the Mway was covered in snow and black ice …. cant believe it hadnt been gritted, likewise the M6 northbound, quite a few cars were stuffed into the hard shoulder …. carnage !!
Eventually made it to a W/lge on the Lanky Canal at Garstang smashed the ice for 30 mins then 5 hrs later weighed in 4 oz ~sick ~sick lol
Some great weights at the other end of the match length tho with 9lb of roach winning …. quality ~clap ~clap

TF_S.shallawoke up too 1 inch+of snow!! (after blanking at (barronbrook) or heronbrook too some?? yesterday!
had a pairs match too go too, and on the phone everyone was still going!!!!!!!!got there too an inch of ice on the pool i was fishing, other one with a few stream’s n pipes flowing was free?
broke it too 14metre seem too be an expert with a breaker these days!!!, broke me no 4 to margin pole with net pole shoved up it! (muppet)!!
amazingly caught a few roach n small perch, couple of 1lb skimmers fa 3rd- 6lb 13oz
me partner on the ice free pool…. blanked off the bonus peg!!! and the last weight on our frozen pool would of been 3rd on their lake!!
oh decided too put me hoody back on half way through, had too climb over the box as a fookin pile of ice too me left! getting back on it put me foot through me number 7 of me2g10!!! great (muppet) lol
