  is it the server is bad or what?? having trouble with it always crashing,other sites fine so it’s definatly something to do with this site,anyone else having problems??

  Get a good broadband supplier like virgin which goes through fibre optic cable not phone lines like all the other providers

  Wondered if that could be the problem.Currently got a wireless BT Home Hub,just upgraded the Voyager USB,but it’s still painfully slow & forever crashing,unable to download some jpegs etc.When it does fall completely off the pc,phone India for three nights running for three or four hrs at my expense because they never call back & normally end up where i started in any case!
  
  At least at work we have a decent network,think i’ll have to spend more time here.lol.

  No problems at all my end… in fact it’s been brilliant for the last two months…
  
  My only thoughts is that in the last two days of Jan it was over 85% of allowed bandwidth for the month – don’t know if that could have caused an issue?

  No problems here in Sunny Scotland, other than mornings, particularly Mondays when it’s quite slow, probably due to heavy general broadband traffic.
  
  On the subject of rip-off call centre phone charges, try this site, no guarantees it will list alternative numbers for your particular provider but worth a try. Generally, it’s an excellent site and I use it all the time, particularly for major utility providers etc.

  Yeah I have found out that the Competition entry section has broken – so I have had to pull the competition down until it’s fixed. Don’t you just love websites!!!
  
  Monday’s is the site’s busiest day… so it could be a bit slower due to the volume of traffic.

  I think in the future BT are going over to cable, don’t know when but talking to everyone at work who have broadband through phone lines they all complain how slow it is

  thats ok if cable is installed in your area.unfortunately its not in our village.
  however i don’t suffer any problems here and i’m on a phoneline broadband connection.

  It was awfull, but the last few weeks have been perfect. The odd occation whee it wont load firsy time but all in all brilliant now!

  I think it could have been related to getting close to the site’s bandwidth allowance for Jan…. 31 days in a busy month it does get tight.
