TF_nitroclearly alan is an awesome angler, but as you can see from drawing the same peg twice, he had a huge slice of luck to achieve these 3 wins. Fishing at this time of year is 80% the draw and the rest the fishing. There are only a few given pegs where there are enough fish that you can possibly win a match from, and if you dont draw them you cannot win. I myself have won 3 matches in one week (in February), one i won by a clear 100lb, the other 2 were won with roach catches but i still drew good areas. Unfortunately i havent before or since put together a consistent enough run of draws to achieve that again. It is a phenomenon that the top anglers are very often on noted pegs when a draw is needed, which just makes it twice as hard for anyone else!

yorkiboyIt also shows that the same peg can fish different on two days using the same bait
