Report:
The very strong SW wind made conditions uncomfortable for competitors on Lagoon fishing the Thursday NISA Open, but carp were caught all round the lake keeping most competitors interested throughout.
Dynamite Trentmen’s Anthony King on peg 15 landed several carp on bomb and corn for 41-06 and added 12-00 of silvers on pole and pellet which edged him into first place with 53-06.

On the opposite bank Jason Shirley (Bailey’s of Warwick) caught 47-14 of carp and 1-00 of silvers for 48-14 to take second place.
Third place was taken by Adrian Higgington (Dynamite Trentmen) with 42-02 (including 38-00 of carp) from peg 4.
The Thursday NISA Open Match on Thursday 7 February will now be fished on both Lizard and Lagoon on Makins Phase 2, both of which will be used in the Winter League Semi Final later this month.
NB. NISA Opens are at Dynamite Makins every Thursday throughout 2013 on Phases 2 or 3. (£15 all in at the draw). Draw 9.15am in Barn, Phase 1 Car Park.
