time for a new box

  going to take a look at the new absolute compact today but am also pondering the si-wi quad. does anyone know where you can get accessories for the quad ie- pole support etc and are draw dividers available. Any other suggestions for a good box would be good too.

  What did you think to the absolute compact?I still havent seen one yet,the only thing i would have preferred was a 26mm drawer instead of a winder tray,but that can always be added later only £36 although out of stock at present.

  Have a look at the matrix superbox. Quad has some good points but I found the footplate too short

  had a matrix super box and it was good, now got a quad box which i prefer, i had a look at the new absolute compact at the big one show saturday as my pal was thinking of buying 1 and it still seemed big and heavy to me, nice looking box tho.

  Im also looking at the compact. It does look pretty awesome
  
  the station is supposed to be 20kg and this is 20% lighter but I dunno how true that is?
  
  I was going to get an extra 26mm side draw too and put winders in that. Dont suppose anyone knows if the preston winder cases you buy will fit snug in the draw? The 18cm winder tray looks pretty similar to the 26mm side tray with no winders ibn (if that makes sense lol)
  
  they make a winder draw now but its a 40mm one. Can you double stack winder trays like on the new SX on boxes?

  I think box manufacture is an area where all the tackle companies really need to up their game.
  I have a Space Station XS which has been used twice and already 2 of the legs are coming loose, mind you it does have the tramp stamp of approval (made in PRC)
  All boxes I’m aware of are really expensive way too heavy and generally shoddily made.
  So I’ll be off to an engineers for them to put me some bigger rivets in my wobbly new box legs and waiting for it to fall to bits in another way some time soon.
  Is there anything else worth me trading it in for IMO not at the moment there isn’t.
