Another good match on the R. Yare although sitting on my peg at times you would not have thought that there was a fish in the river. Not such good weights as last week, but it was still very good for most with all the sections except for the 2 on the Boards being won with over 20lband it was probably the high tide that kept weights down a little. We had an easterly wind that probably didn’t help either.

1st Mick Hanks, downstream end peg 144 weighed in 39lb 8oz
        2nd Andy Moss 33lb 0oz
        3rd Brian Weavers 31lb 12oz
        4th Simon Newman (Yare Rod) 30lb 13oz

        Sections were as follows

        22 to 29 Rick Tweddell 25lb 2oz
        61 to 67 John Taylor 16lb 6oz
        68 to 78 Glenn Hubbard 18lb 3oz
        86 to 92 Keith Ford 21lb 2oz
        93 to 99 Malcolm Runacres 29lb 8oz
        103 to 109 Karl Redfern 21lb 6oz
        113 to 120 Mark Pollard 28lb 7oz
        124 to 144 Paul Hudson 27lb 7oz

Mostly skimmers from 8oz to 1 1/2lb but plenty of 12 ounce roach in amongst them. The river is still too coloured for the roach to be showing in huge numbers. This time last year there was a winning weight of 55lb of roach on the pole! It had cleared out by then though and the skimmers had left town.
