A change to the Maunside because of the chance of the Holmedale lake flooding because of the very heavy rain.
Mick Smith won this match drawn at peg 8 he fished the pole and meat at 13m tight to the far bank landing a string of carp – 4lb finishing this 4 hour match with 50lb 4oz

Just his 2nd visit to the fishery and Steve Barrowclough makes it to the top of the list, drawn on the bore hole peg 31 he fished the pole and meat long at 14m shallow landing 22 carp – 8lb for an impressive level 138lb. Also with over 100lb in the net his travelling partner Worksop’s Andy Lakey fishing the pole and paste out at peg 17 and late in the match he fished corn down the margin, he landed 30lb of stockies – 1lb and 18 carp – 7lb for a total of 108lb 1oz.
96 lb 9oz was needed for 3rd and 56lb just managed 10th place.
