A low turn out due to the England football match but the anglers that turned up had a very high scoring match 134lb 12oz winning and 45lb 12oz was last. In top spot was Lee Hassett drawn on the bore peg 31 he fished the pole at 14m up in the water with corn on the hook and feeding meat he was into carp from the off and landed over fish – 7lb recording a winning weight of 134lb 12oz. Geoff in 2nd place would have won the match but only landed 2 carp in the last hour (were as Lee landed 8) he fished the pole and worm over pellet and hemp tight down the right hand margin landing carp – 10lb and a total of 124lb 4oz

Norman drew very unfancied peg 29 in the corner on the field side fishing with the pole meat and paste out and down the margin he landed over 30 carp – 8lb weighing in a total of 92lb 10oz just edging Paul Brown into 2nd place by 1lb 2oz, Paul fished the pole and paste down the margin at peg 42 he managed to land 25 carp – 7lb in his net of 91lb 8oz, Mick Smith finished 3rd with 91lb 2oz of carp on the pole and meat at end peg 56.
