        would a super 5 section replace a number five ok.
        would it make much difference to the pole.

          The super 5 or short 5 will not fit the Tourney pro x, they fit the slightly older poles i.e Speccy comp, original Whisker etc.

                The Super No.5 won’t fit the original Pro mate. Only the Super 3 & 4. See link:
