Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery Weekly Report ending 7th February 2010

All pools are fishing well after the cold spell, with 50lb+ being caught by both match and pleasure anglers. The fish have been in the bottom of the margins and lots of fish also being caught on a waggler using an open ended feeder against the islands. Red maggot, pellet or bread have been the best baits.

        Top Pool
4-5 big commons caught in the bowl this week off peg 33. Lots of f1 carp, bream, perch and roach on all pegs at 8-10m with pellet or red maggot.

        Bottom Pool
Some big fish caught this week, two over 15lb to bread against the island. Lots of silverfish and f1 carp to maggot.

        House Pool
F1 carp, roach, perch, bream and chub on red maggot fishing at 6m. Big bream and carp on bread fished against the islands.

        House 2/Extension Pool
Pole maggot feeder for carp up against the island. Lots of silverfish at 6m on pellet.

        New Pool
Some carp down the margins. Lots of f1 carp, bream, tench, roach and perch at 6-10m on maggot or pellet fished on the bottom with red groundbait.

        Canal Pool

        Club Pool
