        2014/2015 FISHING LEAGUE

Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery is creating a new fishing league to be fished from 1st November 2014 to the 1st October 2015.
Points will be awarded to open matches in the week and the weekends where there are 10 anglers or more.

The top 32 anglers at the 1st October 2015 will be eligible to fish the Grand Final which will be held over 2 days on the weekend of the 17th & 18th October 2015.

Jenny’s and Club pools will be used and anglers will have to fish both lakes. The winner will be decided on weight.

The prize money for the big final will be as follows *:
        1st £1000
        2nd £750
        3rd £500
        4th £250

The cost of a weekend open will be £18. This is broken down as follows:
        £7 peg fee
        £1 League Fund
        £10 payout.

There will still be the optional £5 pool for those who wish to enter it.
There will be no more bonus pegs.

The money will be paid out on the day as follows:
For every 8 anglers there will be a main list prize and a section prize. E.g. 24 anglers means paying the top 3 and 3 section prizes. If there aren’t enough anglers to make up an “8” the number will be rounded up or down e.g. if there are 19 anglers there will be 2 main list places and 2 section prizes. If there are 22 anglers there will be 3 main list places and 3 section prizes.

Points will be awarded as follows:
        1st – 25 points
        2nd – 20 points
        3rd – 15 points
        Section winner – 10 points
All other anglers will be awarded 2 points for fishing the match.

WINTER LEAGUE MATCHES WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE LEAGUE.

        * prize amounts depend on the total prize fund at the end of the league.
