Just over twelve months ago I did a post named ”Three pole info”, in which I compared the MAP 801, the Diawa Airity and the Tricast Trilogy Pro 2.
At first I intended to purchase the MAP 901 but supplies to shops were very slow so I never got to try one.
I followed the advice of Paul Newall and went for a pole which and been on sale for at least twelve months and still had a good reputation.
I decided to buy the Tricast Trilogy Pro 2 and what a good decision that has turned out to be!
To date (touch wood), I have been ”chuffed to bits” with it.
This is the sixth pole I have purchased, the previous being two D.A.M and three Diawa poles.
The Pro 2 is the first pole I have owned whereby I have not had at least one ”mystery” section break in the first twelve months.
To date the Pro 2 has never come apart when shipping out, no sections have stuck together and there is so far, virtually no wear on the section joints.
All-in-all, a brilliant piece of kit, made in the UK and around £700 cheaper than a Diawa Airity.
For me, ten out of ten!
