Can anybody provide some info on the following venues. 20 lads from the club are off to Somerset for a series of 5 matches and plenty of beer first week July.

        Viaduct Campbells
        The Cider Farm
        Lands End Fishery

Any bait, methods info would be appreciated.

          Hi Craig.
Cambles is mosly straight lead fishing, an ounce lead is plenty, and a 11mm pelett. Feed one or two at a time, they swim up and down the middle all day! If the guys to your side catch one chuck it short, if the guy oposit catches, cast long!
I was 4th in the fish o this year doing it!

On campbell with 20 of you on it you will catch better shallow on either wag or long pole at this time of year. Feed 6mm on the pole 8 on the wag and keep feeding. a few fish down the edge on some pegs but if the sun is out shallow is best !

It’s wierd you ask, this coming Sunday I’m off to Viaduct, were fishing Cambell’s Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. Wednesday were going to Cider Farm, not sure which lake.

I’ll let you know how we get on. There’s 40 or so of us going, but there will be 2 seperate matches per day, my matches are the venues I stated above, whereas the other lads are off to Lands End and Emerald Lakes I think.
