        Hi All,

I’m moving to Falmouth in Cornwall next week and would appreciate it if anyone had any addresses or contact numbers, for any venues, clubs or tackle shops they know of in the area?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

        Les

hi lee welcome to cornwall, or maybe not lol. i think theres a little club called billy knots. as for venues there is the; barns fishery, gwinere fishery thats near newquay and of course theres whiteacres where you can by a day ticket i think its only at weekends tho. there aremore fisherys further down but i dont know them that well.
theres a local guy (not) called roger baker he might put you onto to some if not pop into whiteacres it self and go to the tackle lodge and speak to the staff (if you can understand them)they might be able to help you. what type of fishing are you into; match or just pleasure.

Cheers Paul, thanks for the welcome and the heads up, will certainly have a chat with the lads at White Acres. Into mostly club match fishing and occasional pleasure, practise sessions. Really used to enjoy my river fishing, but think that’s gone out the window now! Les

Billy Knott’s club is called Marazion A.C. They have Bill’s pool at st.erth and st. Erth fishery amongst others. They are a good set of lads and Roger Baker used to fish with their club when I went a few years ago. There’s also St. Ives A.C. Who control Woonsmith fishery. There’s also bigger reservoirs as well as the commercials that everyone knows about.
