WoodyAverages about 4ft deep all over with it being a bit shallower along the causeway bank. Well stocked with carp and silvers. Carp go anything from 3lb to big doubles. Method feeder early doors is good but its a really good pole venue, particularly down the margins where you will catch the magority of your carp from in summer. Corn, pellet, meat good baits and they love a bit of paste on there too.
They’re not line shy so make sure you gear up for the carp as they do pull quite a bit..max size pellet you can feed on warren is 4mm, stops all that feeding 8mm mullarky out into the middle of the lake and koofing it up.
Its a nice place run by decent blokes and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. -

TF_redarmyas you stand at the dam end looking up the lake i think peg 1 is the 1st peg on left hand bank with pegs in the 20,s-30 on the right hand and pegs 31-35 on the dam end.with pegs running clockwise round the lake

WoodyThere’s 36 pegs on there but the ideal number of anglers on a match is 18 ( this is the max amount we have on the open matches on there)..They should let you have the whole lake, just book the lake and usually pay for amount of pegs on the day.
If there’s 17 of you then i’d peg as follows :-5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 31, 33, 34
5 to 12 are down the left side bank, 14 & 15 are down the arm at bottom end of lake, 18 & 19 are facing back to the causeway, 21 to 27 are down right side bank and 31, 33 & 34 are on the causeway.
Another good thing is that you can drive behind most pegs to drop tackle at your peg and then park cars a short distance away from your pegs.

WoodyMinimum 0.18, they’re not shy…if you draw peg 12 then 0.20, when you see the peg you’ll know where I’m coming from.

TF_CoxyUse whatever line you like. The fish they Keeel poles and anglers and would take your children given half a chance. I fish with a couple of little guys called Glen and Ian and they tie themselves to the platforms so they do not get dragged in. 😀
