What happened to "bonus pegs" on opens??

Our club gonna start a bonus peg system this year,(gonna cap it tho) was wondering what happened to them on open scene? i know they used to roll over to quite alot, in turn getting big turn outs to there fisherys? have they stopped this as i never hear of big bonus peg amounts up for grabs!~think

Some fisheries still run them, but I’d guess that most (if not all) are capped now. You used to hear countless moans from fishery regulars when so called “bounty hunters” came in and won “their” money and dissapered after, chasing the next big pot.

Matters not to me, I never draw the bloody things!

I won a golden peg the very first time I fished Stafford Moor. Fished the maggot feeder which was completely against the grain.

Still have Golden Pegs at the Suffolk Water Park Opens. All of them are capped at their maximum at the moment. Silver fish on Saturdays is currently £100, Sunday Opens £400, and midweek opens £100.
