Angler from Germany , sorry cannot help with the pole . Regarding your English please do not apologise !! 😀 😀 😀 There are a few on here that could do with some extra tuition . They are English but must have wagged off school to spend more time fishing :p :p :p .

As for the Browning gear iRoc, there is a private message service availble to each user.
Pm Matchace as he has been known to like a bit of browning kit and i’m pretty sure he may be able to give you some help.

A Browning GT4000 is a very old pole, I think it pre-dates the Super Equipe I had, there was one on ebay a while back but cannot seem to find it now. I think its probably only worth around £30-50.00 tops mate.

                      Thanks for all the replies!

I’ve send an email to Browning so that maybe they can send me informations about the pole…

But even 30-50 pounds (37-63€) wouldn’t be so bad 🙂

It was a present from a friend which quitted fishing about 8 years ago and it’s nearly unused!

Today I got an answer to the mail which i’ve sent to Browning.

They told me, that the rod came out in 1998 and had a price of 399 pounds (599€).

If i would sell the pole what do you think would be a realistic price?

IROC ,have a look on COMPARE POLES under Browning it could be listed but it sounds like a fossil as things advance quick in carbon fibre technology .

                          You may be lucky?

                          Happy surfing. 🙂
