Taking the plunge and fishing my 1st festival (Bait Tech). What rigs will I need? Line strengths etc?

You will want pole rigs on tops fours and a few on top 5’s ranging from 4×12 through to 0.8g or even 1g on certain pegs. Line wise i go 0.18 mainline to 0.16 or 0.14 hooklengths. Hook wise size 16 B911’s. Im presuming it will still be a no pellet festival.

Bazza – if you go on W/acres website, you can get loads of info ref past festivals.

Only look at the VDE / Bait Tech ones though as it is a unique non pellet festival.

              See you there……….

I fished my very first festival there last year (Dynamite Baits) and really enjoyed it, it’s just a shame I won’t be going back there this year.

Why not Red H? I would love to go for a festival but not sure I will be able to this year. I will get a couple of matches in down there though hopefully.

White Acres websites states no matches to be held on Bolingey ` Not available`.

Anyone know anything about this ???

think you might be reading it slightly wrong mate, it means that bolingey and pollawyn plus 2 to 4 other pools will be used for the festival.
how it is written it is more informing people not fishing the festival what pools will be unavailable if that makes sense
