TF_Mick FordhamIt’s not that hard to do them yourself (as long as you have a bit of time)..
I’ve just converted 12 top kits to side pullers over the past week (and repaired a No.5 section as well).
You can buy a fishing pole repair kit from Carbon Mods (I now just buy the parts I need rather than the kit, but to start with the kit will help you out). They have a video on thier web-site which gives you the basics of how to do it…
Have a look…
If you are not good with your hands then contac the pole repair guys as some of them will do a wrap and bush your kits for you).

TF_Mick FordhamMorris,
Carbon Mods have a video on thier web-site which helps to start you off (it’s also on YouTube).
However there are a few tricks to get a good finish to the wrap (which I’m more than happy to help you with)..
I reckon it has cost me about £4 a kit to convert them (and this includes the price of the bushes)….
Once you have watched the video give me a PM, it may be better for you to call me so I can run-through what I did (I will PM you my Mobile No.)…
If you spend a bit on time on them you can get them looking almost like a manufactured job… All my mates who I have shown mine to want me to do there’s now!!!

I use him regularly for all my mates in Ireland. He is first class and a true gentleman to deal with.
Highly recommended. 🙂 🙂
