a shoal of bream used to live infront of the island between the two weirs ive also caught tench from the bottom end of the stretch fishing gbait and worm down the inside

depending on which bit you fish will depend on tactics top end which is above weirs is a long walk look to draw by over head wires normally catch on GB feeder three parts way over maggot,caster worm some good bream, skimmers perch an roach very deep 20-25ft in place it’ll be top 6 on pole before weirs i used to fish stick bolo and wag as its little shallower in pegs as you go down strem deep in weir pool used to be some good bream fishing but lot of pike and zander now i believe bloomin good head of roach about tho
