Hoping for a bit of a heads up on winning weights/ approaches at the moment – can anyone oblige? From previous trip its being corn down edge/ method and pellet waggler.

I understand that the new lakes are in which contain small carp so will maggots be a goer – trouble is cant get em on site and would be a waste if drawn elsewhere!

You know how it is, with so many different lakes being fished there are an awful lot of combinations, I’d definitely add paste to the list. The only lake with small carp is New Lake and last time I spoke to the Willinghurst people, New Lake wasn’t going to be used.

I’m there on Wednesday and I’ll get the definitive answer re lakes and pegging.

No Maggots for me – I’m on hols in New Forest next week so nowhere to store them…..and won’t fund millionaire Nathans savings with free maggots!

They can have pellets and like it!
