Willow Park – Middle Lake

We have a club match on middle Willow on Sunday. Does anyone know how it has been fishing and what the best tactics are please.

Yes, I know I will probably ignore all the advice and just fish paste but it would be nice to know what others say.

people are fishing long, feeding 30 6mm pellets on the deck and fishing a hair rig 6mm on the hook, lift and drop and feeding 2 or 3 pellets over the top with a caty then fishing 2ft deep in the last couple of hours catching a lot of bream and skimmers and F1’s.

start on a pellet feeder with an 8mm pellet big bream showing.

I fished it in July last year ( the supercup final ), I was first or second on the lake with 67lbs on the caster shallow at 14.5m. Bet nobody else had a caster with them.It could be worth a try.
