It seems that skier Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong SMITH,the Glasgow-born “Snow Leopard” did not have the proper qualifications for the giant slalom..Shame that.

Some of the Beeb commentary has been hilariously bad.Some fella nearly broke his neck in the downhill and that butch lass discussed it for about 10 minutes, continuously referring to him by totally the wrong name.

Then there was the Jamaican skier who performed beyond all expectations. Errol Kerr was his name, but the poor old commentator got so excited he screamed out his name as Errol Flynn !
