winter roach shallow

when fishing shallow for roach in winter i have spells when i carnt hit bites

what should i try to change i.e shot size,shotting pattern, does shot closer or further away to the hook make any difference, float size etc

what feeding paterns can make you hit more bites

Try a bulk close to the hook, dont fish too light. Contrary to popular belief, Roach are aggressive feeders so the more positive your rig the more bites you’ll hit.
