Fished it a few weeks ago in a club match.

60 odd lb won fishing pellet up in the water at about 14 mtrs off peg 7 or 8 (or there abouts).

I was second with 55lb or so off the opposite bank further up towards cafe, sorry cant remember peg number.

I fished 4mm pellet up in the water at about 13 mtrs caught slowly for half of match, fished 18 inches deep, size 16 barbless carp hook, no float. Fed inside lines every 10 minutes or so with casters and pellets. Varied depth but wind at times did not make it easy.

Caught much better down the margins next to reeds with double caster feeding same.
Was really close to a very small marginal clump hardly any other reeds at all, so I was surprised to catch. Fish were a lot better stamp too, some pushing 5 lb. When they backed off I fished off the bottom down the slope with the same rig (only about a foot further out from bank) and the fish just took the bait and hooked themselves.

Hope you have a good days fishing.

My advice would be not to go straight down the margins as you can blow the swim as some of the lads fishing did and my swim got better as the day went on and their swims blew. It is very close between pegs so you will really only get 1 margin to fish to and the fish will congregate in one of them, you should see the odd ghostie swim down your margins, usually a good sign to have a look there.

Take casters, pellets, and always corn, and even some have been catching on prawns, although I have never fished with them.
