Hi
I’m going to Thirsk for a series of 4 matches. I was wondering if anyone had fished the place as I have never been before i.e. bait requirement, method & tactics. We are fishing 2 matches on Mallard, 1 on Skylark & 1 on Wagtail.
Any information would be gratefully received as I’m finding it very difficult to find any information on the web.

dont know much about mallard mate but on skylark its method feeder or 16m pole up in the water , pellet wag works too on here ,and bomb and pellet , kick off on method and see how it goes , last hour fish down edge for lumps . wagtail is pretty musch same as skylark but start on paste at 6m for 1st hr then pole up in water , and lumps at the end . hope this helps .you will need aprox 2pt fishery pellets 1 or 2 tins corn and 1 tin of hemp .
