at last it gets going today.

the home nation has a very good record in the opening game and at around 7/4 south africa to beat mexico looks a good bet.

hope we are still cheering when the competition is over.

I went through it last night – England have a great route to the semi final, if they can win their group.

Today’s game. All betting logic tells me that South Africa are the wrong price and a very good ‘lay’ at 7/4.

Especially having seen Mexico perform very well lately (they dominated posession against England).

But you are right, home nation and all of that, and SA games tend to be low scoring.

I can see a 1-1 draw.

trying to watch the match and that blooming fly buzzing around the commentater’s mike is doing my head in, can some one swatt the blighter before the telly goes out of the window. lol

mixico are the better team but i think they will keep their record intact – never winning their opening game.
