I think the Daiwa Tournament S or Daiwa Tournament 210 were the same mandrel. The connoisseur 510 & Matchwinner 811 were also out at this time.

There were two “412” poles by Daiwa. The Matchwinner 412 and the Team Daiwa 412. The TD412 was off the same 9 section mandrel as the TournyX ,410 and Spectron but the Matchwinner was off another different mandrel a I could not tell you which other poles used the Matchwinner mandrel. If I remember correctly the TD412 butt sections were silver with purple graphics.

why the brother broke a number6 going to cost him £50 for the repair and i found a new matchwinner 412 section for £75 just seeing wots compaitable

Neil, just a couple of small corrections, the pole was TDP412 and the sections were all black. The graphics were in purple as you say.
Great pole also up to 13m. I still have 2 of them.

Yes you are correct JohnH. I should have remembered they were black as I have a 16mtr TDP412 section somewhere that I used to use as an extension to my two TournyX poles. Slim Shady sprayed it silver for me and replicated the TournyX graphics on it.

the13m section is black with purple graphics and the 14.5m and the 16m sections are silver

Apologies to all, you are correct Gonk the 14.5m and 16m ext are silver. I never used mine as the pole became floppy beyond 13m.
Hence I thought it was all black.
