Relative newcomer to Hallcroft, Dave Mayo showed some clear talent as he claimed second spot amongst a strong field of experienced anglers. Dave fished the pole at 10m using pellet and corn to catch mainly carp.

Don Slaymaker won the battle for third with a nice net mainly silverfish all taken on the pole using chopped worm and caster.

Experienced veteran Arthur Beresford showed he’s no mug as he claimed second spot, with his second ton of the season, amongst an excellent field of anglers. Arthur fished the pole to the margins using meat and corn to land carp and bream.

Fresh from his decent result in the world championships, Jamie Masson continued his good form with second place today. Jamie caught well on double corn down the margins during the second half of the match.
