The Sunderland City Council sponsored event, postponed in January due to extreme weather, will take place between South Shields Pier and the North side of Ryhope Dene. The winner each day takes home £500, with £300 for second and £200 for third. There is an excellent supporting prize table worth over £2,000 each day.

Registration is at the Eastenders Social Club in High Street, Sunderland from 10am to 1pm with fishing each day for 1pm to 5pm and weigh in from 5.15pm to 6.15pm.
