Not much response to this thread, hope there’s more info to be had.

I’ll have to contact my team captain, but expect I’ll be ordering a gallon of casters at the weekend.

pool 1 was still a bit off at the weekend, i know that 97lb won 1 section and 69lb another both on the feeder i think, the foundation fished well and 215lb won on there with some good back up weights, i was on mallory big lake, there were 14 pegs and 5 tons with good back up weight agian. the big lake will not be included though this year on the aca.
                  sections provisionally
                  2 on pool 1
                  1 on pool 3(uglies)
                  1 split section on 4 & 5
                  1 split section on 6 & 7
                  1 on the foundation lake

at this moment 14 teams are in so sections of 14 anglers, will try and post some more info nearer the date. ps casters is a good bet.

Thanks for that R, any more help would be brilliant…
Like do you stay on the feeder all match or just fish it early and then swap to the shallow pole?

there is gonna be a lot of different fishing as there are lots of different pols in, the big lake at Mallory is now in on saturday, it really is so unpredictable and really you just got to keep having a look around to see what happening, the weather earlier in the week doesnt look good for up in the water but it may liven it all up a bit.

Will it be a short pole & paste job then? Or just the feeder?

Steve the pole will work on some lakes with the paste but others it might be a feeder job, the foundation has thrown up massive weights in the 3 hour evening series but monday it was hard with only 70lb tops, again all the regulars ended up doing different things to catch, sorry for being so vague, it really is going to be a different match on all the lake, i expect pools 2-3-5 – mallory big – lake to be most consistent as they are the least fished, not that the fish get lots of pressure but it seems the ones that do, ie. 1 – 4 -6 – 7 – foundation- may be the hardest, hope this helps a bit
