  I have a match at Grange farm please could any body give me any advise.All I have been told that its jun 6 of the M18.

  plenty of fish both long and shallow with pellet and short in teh margins with paste over pellet.
  One minus is the pegging is very tight. 46 pegs on what should be no more than 30…..

  Fishomaniac what size carp are they? also how deep is it?and is there any bans?

  Think hemp is banned. Depth around 6 feet at 11m then starts to slope up towards the island which is a couple of inches tight across. Inside generally has no shelf and slopes to 11m. Find two feet at 3m either side. You can catch in shallower water but it tends to spook the shoal after a few fish are taken. 2 feet seems to keep them feeding confidently.
  Most fish are about 2-3lb, but do run to 13lb.

  Thanks for the info.Do they have a website?Also is there any walking.The reason I ask is that ive put my back out but need to fish as only 1 point of top of league.Sorry to ask so many question but what would be your tatics if you was fishing a 6 hour match.

  Short walk pelletpump to most pegs. Maybe a couple oppposite the carp park are a bit longer.
  If I was fishing it this weekend I would certainly try and catch short on paste with meat as an alternative over micro pellet. Start there whilst feeding up in the air line at 13-14.5m with 4mm pellet. If you catch short great if not bagging and others are catching long and shallow, go long. I would have to be really bagging long to NOT come off it in the last two hours to fish short. I’ve had 100lb in the last two hours very regulary. On it’s day 250lb can be needed. As I say top place just very tight pegging.

  more like 2-3, at 5 they seem to start to come off the deck.
