  just wandered if anyone else has had problems with their half extension? mine doesn’t seem to go in very far at all to the 13m and 14.5m butt, probably only half an inch to an inch, are they all like this coz it doesn’t seem safe to me! cheers

  Something wrong there mate,have you tried the other end of the half ex, the 14.5 is a bigger section than the 13 so should go in more.On mine the biggest end of the half goes in the 16 end and the smaller bit goes in the 13/14.5

  the small end only just goes in the 13 as i said, but goes in too far to the 14.5 and the thick end goes in the 14.5 half an inch

  should go in about 3-4 inches,does the thick end fit in the 16 sect properly

  Dont think thats right tom, tried mine before whilst i was cleaning it as i havent used the half ex yet but it fits 13 & 14.5m sections perfect. Take it back to the shop if your not happy mate and ask there opinion

  Mine goes in about 3-4 inches and gets quite a bit of use. If yours is only going in half an inch then personally you are risk of damaging the female end of the butt sections. IMO take it back and ask for a replacement, its too useful to be without.
