  Thanks for the info guys on Border match lake.
  I have seen some pictures of it and notice a bay on the far bank. What are the peg numbers in that area? I have heard that you dont chuck tight on these, is that true? Do you chuck tight on most pegs. I’m talking on the bomb here.

  r u on about the match lake mate if so the bay on the far bank i don’t no what you are on about mate if is hard to chuck tight up against the far bank on the frount of the lake is far away, you can get it around the back but the back side of the island is full of weed on the deck and the feeder sin

  sinks in to it makin it hard to fish the feeder around their (thats why popped up baits where allowed whey did well but they are banned now),
  if i fish the pellet wag i fish in open water and fish the bomb over it,

  NJD. The pegs you refer to are 35..36..37.
  Dave is correct with all the other info.
  One other point for you.
  The Breakfast in the Cafe is a Belter. Â£4.50.

  One more thing……….. What rig lines are we using?? I was thinking of 0.16 / 0.18.. is that sufficient??
  How many pellets are you feeding it seems like its very few but often??

  Biggest ive had is 8lb, I use 4lb Maxima direct.
  Got to feed all the time 4/5/6 or so.
  Take as many cattys as you can.

  that’s all i use is 4lbs stright thought i’ve had fish to around 8lbs but their is all so alot of fish in over that weight as well so be careful, another thing is when you cast the bomb over the top of the wag line don’t feed any bait at all just keep that in mind,
  
  oh and if you draw peg 18 watch out for the snag about 6m out in frount of you it’s a b*****d so make sure you play your fish tyo the right instead,

  Hi Chaps
  Just a note to say thanks for the info you gave me. I drew 21 on the match lake and fished as you said, on the bomb and wag shallow. I had 38lb 8oz for forth over all. 41lb 3rd, 49lb 2nd and 55lb 1st (this one off Meridian) I was well pleased with that out of 120 people having never seen the venue beforehand.
