A record breaking week at Elinor with an amazing 1686 fish caught including numerous 4lb+ specimens.
Boat and bank anglers having great sport. Lures are still working but each day plenty of fishing coming to nymphs with decent hatches of small buzzers on milder days.
Most fish are being caught 3-5 foot down with a slow retrieve although some boats have caught decent bags fishing nearer the bottom.
Water clarity remains excellent with some good buzzer fishing in prospect for the next few weeks.
Spooned fish have been feeding well on hoglouse, small buzzers and daphnia along with a few caddis.
