not fished it for a year, but it was always chopped worm & caster tight across or at the bottom of the far slope

chub mainly, with a few tench, eels & odd bream

peg 1 will win it the first peg ater lock fish about 1/4 of way up the shelf all way along there its gin clear

I fished H section last saturday on the div 2 national, i had 1kg 130g for third in my section. I caught all my fish on squatt and pinkie at the bottom of the far shelf, I caught the fish over small balls of groundbait which i topped up when the bites died. There were only 3 weights in my section over a kilo as most people struggled! there was big bream(4lb) caught from the end peg to win the section!

Me and me mate had a praccy on there before the national.

I would start on bottom of far shel on bread and fish it out left adn right. feed a cou[le of balls up the far shelf adn a couple at 2/3 metres.

If you get a few boats and the bread dies try up the far shelf and short….. My mate cught well on his top kit. bottom of near shelf.

bread and punch i mean to start and squatt over groundbait balls afterward.
