  I have got a club match on the BAA waters at Hallow next week, would welcome any info on how to aproach match.

  a few bream there along with the odd big barble if ya wanna sit it out for em. you can do 8lb of bleak or fish the stick . some nice pegs now unless they have been washed away in the floods !

  Tournament Tom Just to let yoy know how match fished.
  
  Drew a peg with a bad snag in it
  lost 2 plumbobs and trashed 2 rigs. River full of rowers and not a bite on feeder weighed in 1lb 8oz 8drams of Bleak to finish 5th. 5lb won consisting of a carp and an eel. Not a good day unable to get through Bleak even with bulk shotting.

  billy boy, having fished hallow for many years i suggest that you should have taken the overtime on saturday and gone home and listened to the football scores on the radio.The extra money from O/T should then be put towards fishing lessons for begginers

  had a couple of club match’s on there recently both were won with carp (no I’m not joking) they went up to 10lb propably escaped during the flooding hair rigged pellet and pellet & groundbait feeder did the damage
