        Hi lads its that time of year again for the foss dyke saturday league.

        First match 20/10/07

        the draw will be held at the bridge inn pub on the A57 at Saxilby. draw 8.30 fish 10 – 3.

        it is 50quid to enter the league and your top 6 results count out of 10.

        13 quid per match if in the league and 15 if fished as opens.

        Pike are banned

        Bloodworm allowed

          hey.
          where are you getting you match packs from mate?? and how much are they?
          I fished a couple of winterleagues on the fossy with B&J year before last, and it fished well, how did it fish last year?

            I unfortunately cant make any of the dates on the Fosse.First one Im washing my hair,second one Im extracting a tooth with a pair of pliers,third one Im poking needles into my eyeballs,etc,etc.

              it fished even better last year but that may have been down to the unusually mild winter. for the match packs mate give ted burkes a ring at whisby angling supplies thats where we have been gettin it from for the last 4 years, his number is 07976802306.

              and as for you caster ******* **** ******* ******!!!!!!! any way pete when can i come back to your water for a bit more float fishing?

                Just spoke to the main man whos finally back of holday again and found out what water is available for the first few weeks.Saturday October 13th will be the first one when Colins back from his carp puddle.Rolleston might have to come into play which you would enjoy but some really good news,Devon Mouth is always available for the masters of the finer art.Do they make floats out of plastic with holes in and how do you get a halibut pellet on a 22?

                    What pegs are they using in the league?

                      we havent been on it since the national. you wouldnt need worm and joker yet.

                      we are using 1 – 39 on the roadside which is basically from the bridge inn to the pike house and also 31 – 60 which is from the river Till mouth back towards saxilby
