Right guys have a chew on this. If you are fishing a strip lake 30 metres wide and it’s only pegged down one bank can you walk round to the opposite bank and feed by hand before returning to your peg and then go over it with the bomb/feeder,whilst having a look on the pole line??

NO!! Theres no difference between throwing bait in there or on your poleline before the match starts. Its cheating.

Sounds like ur saying they using 2 rods at same time? But walking round to far bank to feed is not allowed in nfa rules if ur fishing to them.

You can only feed from the peg you’ve drawn

Feed from the peg only and you cant fish a bomb/feeder while having a look on the pole.Only one thing in the water at any time.

You are only really allowed to leave your peg for the call of nature

I have seen this done at Tunnel Barn. The whistle went, and the guy on my right, walked to empty peg between us and tipped in a whole bowl full of sloopy bread!
This was years ago, and i said nothing as i didnt know, but no its not alowed, you feed from your peg only as said above.

It’s cheating! You should only ever leave your peg in a match if your answering the call of nature or you need to stretch your legs, although some people may argue that you shouldn’t leave your peg at all. But for feeding a swim or even playing a fish you must NOT leave the confines of your designated peg. Also, your only allowed to use one rod/pole at a time, you can have multiple tackle set up on the bank but must only use one at any one time….

DD – What ??? its cheating as others have said, you can’t leave your peg unless its for the call of nature, or the previous nights session of beer being refiltered lol.

Why don’t you top up with a bigger feeder if you want to keep some bait going in the swim.
