is it worth a go on a commercial? baby-bell or similar? smelly enough, but do carp go 4 it? any one tried.

          lol

          Certainly not Babybel!

          You can catch on cheese.

Crucians and F1’s will have it but there are better approaches imho.

Have a go though and report back.

Tesco Value Full Flavour cheese or something of that ilk is better value.

Just checked the Babybel that the kids have in the fridge and they are 20gm x 6 at about £1.20!

try making a soft cheese paste similar to the one that Matt Hayes uses for chub.
It incorporates blue & cheddar cheese with a cheese flavouring & colouring together with supermarket ready made pastry.
I have tried it & caught tench, bream & carp.

Baby bell is sh*te as cheese but perfect to punch when you need an extra tough pellet.
Cheaper to buy a slice of proper Edam but because it’s wrapped in wax it’s handy to keep the odd one in your box for when you need it.
