bodge were the weights made up of mainly bream/skimmers?

all skimmers for me mate, neil had 1 big carp and a few stockies and skimmers oh and a 5lb barbel. silvers for phill too.

i should be there mate. its been hard, if it stays mild all week it may fish but a couple of cold night could put pay to it. its one of three mate pole, method or crumb feeder.
its a pain in the arse of a lake because you just dont know whats going to happen. its a balls job i think mate, pick your method and go for it. great venue though as if the skimmers have a real go you could do a massive weight of them on the pole

been there quite a bit during the warmer months, but never wen its going colder. have had 70lb of skimmers in march there. wots the going bait etc??

to be honest mate what ever you feel most comfortable with, i tend to go the pellet rout but i know others who fish casters a bit of worm maybe but defo mags and deads. them little round hard things for the method.

wen you say pellet is that all your feeding or r u putting any crumb in?

no have been feeding gb mainly. if you fish it like porth mate you wont go wrong.
