John Adamson on Avon peg 8 marked up his fourth consecutive Thursday Open win. Fishing paste at 10m and later at 9m, he caught carp and bream throughout the day to put 159-02 on the scales.
On Thames peg 19, Kev Winfield also caught carp all match, mainly from the margins, starting on pellet and later on maggot he ended with 151-00 for second place. Pete Eden (Thames 11) had most of his 126-10 for third place on maggot fished in the margins, with Shaun Weed (Avon 24) taking the Avon (default) lake win with 98-14 of carp, a few fish from the far bank early with the bulk from the margins on meat and pellet. Dave Kent (Avon 5) took fifth spot with 92-04 mainly caught late on luncheon and cat meat.
