        Ordered some clean caps hopefully right sizes. Is it best to glue them in if so what glue is best to use is super glue ok. Also do you sand them to fit and is their a hole in or needed in the centre of the caps…thanks for any help.

          its best to glue them in even if they fit tight or they will end up stuck inside the other section just use super glue . i always drill a hole in the end to just use a drill bit and do it by hand it lets the air out so when you ship out ur top3 doesnt come of had it happen to me befor .{only use a couple of drops of glue so when they need changing you will be able to get the caps out}

                As well as wearing the female joint away at the same time.

                  Would you say that they are a good idea fitting them or better leaving them out .cheers

                    Use the preston yellow nose cones, the clean caps will actually collect carbon dust and finer particles of grit and when wet it’s like using a grinding paste!

                      They have the same affect as sandpaper on the female joints,my mate fitted them and the joint wear on his pole was definately increased as the walls on top3s and 4s was paper thin after a year.Anything they can hold little pieces of dirt,carbon dust etc will have an abrasive effect on pole walls.
